Slick Seating Systems Ltd was established in 2000 after the success of being main suppliers of temporary works for the Sydney Olympics.

Now in 2011, Slick Seating Systems Ltd are pleased to announce their new corporate structure following their acquisition by GL Events.

Global event services supplier GL events, owners of UK based Temporary Structure suppliers GL events Owen Brown and Snowdens announced the acquisition of 70% of Slick Seating Systems Ltd in a deal that will further strengthen GL events' Services division and enable Slick Seating Systems Ltd to pursue its ambitious expansion plans.

The role in Sydney included the co-ordination and design of camera platforms, commentary and press positions, walkways and temporary seating.

Following this, Slick Seating Systems went from strength to strength both in the UK and Europe acquiring a large number of clients in the sports and events market.

The seating business benefits from our in-house resource of structural engineers, architectural designers and quantity surveyors as well as the manufacturing facility.

Slick Seating produces a range of permanent stadium seats as well as offering bespoke design and production of temporary, permanent and demountable stadium and seating solutions for the sports market.

The variety of our seating projects ranges from demountable grandstand solutions for Guinness Premiership clients such as Worcester Warriors, Gloucester Rugby, Harlequins and Leicester Tigers through to large permanent grandstands and stadiums.

Installations have been carried out worldwide to stadiums hosting football, cricket, ice hockey, athletics etc.
